CRPVic Awards –
nominate now
The annual CRPVic Awards provide an opportunity to
recognise – and reward - all the hard work that goes into
running a caravan park.
Donna Cocking
All finalists will be invited to attend our YMH CRPVic Gala
Dinner on Wednesday 27 August to enjoy the recognition
they deserve.
Nominations are invited in the following categories:
We’re thrilled to have Donna Cocking, Chair of the
Caravan Industry Association of Australia and a proud
caravan park owner join us for a keynote address.
Unsung Hero Award: Caravan park or associate member
employee, contractor or volunteer who goes above and
beyond to positively contribute to your business and its
guests, residents, site tenants and/or customers.
Donna is a passionate regional tourism operator and a
strong advocate for accreditation and training to support
industry growth. A former president of the Caravan
Industry Association of Western Australia, Donna has
been on the national association board for eight years
and elected Chair in September last year.
Bob and Shirley Murray Community Partnership Award:
Significant contribution of a member caravan park to
their local community.
She will share her experiences of a successful caravan
park ownership journey and how the industry can remain
viable and at the forefront of holiday accommodation
and experiences.
Workplace Excellence Award: Significant commitment
by a member caravan park to make their business a great
place to work.
Donna is one of several enlightening presenters joining
us this year.
We’re also exited to welcome Avril Carter, Director of
Sales Asia Pacific, Shiji Review Pro, who will share insights
into guest reviews – what prospective customers look
for in online reviews and how to convert interest into
bookings.
Other speakers include:
• Bronwyn White: travel researcher/futurist and
AI strategist and marketer with more than 30 years’
experience in the travel industry, Bronwyn will help
you harness AI to enhance your marketing efforts
• Peter Clay: the industry’s go-to stats man, Peter will
present research and data to look at the future of the
industry beyond 2025.
We’re also pleased to welcome Tony Wilson as
conference MC. Tony Wilson is a former lawyer and AFL
footballer whose success in winning the ‘Race around
the World’ travel show in 1998 led to a successful career
in the media.
Known for his humorous and engaging style, Tony is a
sought-after MC so it’s a real treat to have him onboard
for both our conference and Gala Awards dinner.

Peter Buttigieg Innovation Award: Significant innovation
in a member caravan park’s operations or through a
new product or service for guests, residents and/or site
tenants.
Golightly Family Marketing Award: Creativity and
innovation in a member caravan park’s marketing of their
business.
Rob Ensink, Jayco Associate Member of the Year:
Outstanding business performance and support of the
Association by an Associate (Industry Supplier) member.
Peter Crawford Caravan Park of the Year – Residential:
Most outstanding residential caravan park member
based on the quality of its business operation and overall
performance.
VicParks Caravan Park of the Year - Tourist/Mixed Use:
The most outstanding tourist or mixed use member
caravan park based on the quality of its business
operation and overall performance.
