ELEVATING THE GLAMPING EXPERIENCE
IN VICTORIA’S WINE COUNTRY
Following the success of their 2023 collaboration with Park Lane Holiday Park Phillip Island,
GlamXperience is proud to once again partner with the Park Lane Group to bring a new
level of luxury glamping to the picturesque Yarra Valley in Healesville.
At Phillip Island, four family-focused safari tents were
installed adjacent to the much-loved A Maze’N Things
attraction.
These structures were tailored for comfort and
connection, featuring a romantic four-poster bed for
parents, a playful bunk room for kids, generous living
space, large undercover deck with an integrated
lounge suite, fully equipped kitchen, and an outdoor
bar with BBQ.
Since opening, they’ve been a resounding success—
frequently booked out and gaining exceptional guest
praise.
Building on this momentum, the Yarra Valley project
took part in two exciting phases. Phase one saw the
successful installation of five 5-metre Geodesic Domes,
each offering a unique blend of luxury and immersion
in nature, perfect for a couple’s getaway.
“The bell tents looked great, but the ongoing
maintenance—especially with the weather and
surrounding trees in their previous location—was
challenging,” shared Grant Richardson, Head of
Operations for Park Lane.
“The domes are a real game-changer. They’re lowmaintenance, durable, and look incredible in the
landscape.”
Phase two is currently taking things to the next level
with the addition of four cliffside Safari Tents, followed
by an Australian first Installation of three 8-metre
Geodesic Domes – currently under construction.
These domes feature a circular platform mezzanine
bedroom, an adventurous hideaway perfect for the
kids, private ensuite & kitchenette, perched on a round
deck with an infinity-edge feel, seamlessly blending
structural innovation with immersive natural beauty.
Crafted with heavy-duty steel frames and full insulation,
the domes boast large transparent PVC windows and
secure glass doors—bringing in light, stunning views
and peace of mind.
Working closely with Grant and the Park Lane team,
GlamXperience created a natural-toned interior fit-out
using some custom-built furnishings provided by our
sister company, Amuma Living.
The result will be a bold new standard in glamping
accommodation—an experience that’s as beautiful and
thoughtfully designed as the region it inhabits.
